Space Shifters is the kind of exhibition which leaves you with a distinct sense of unease, your former perceptions of space, interiors and design have somehow been shifted in response to the curated and manipulated interior of the Hayward.

It takes a while for the sensation to pass but it goes without saying that you may never look at ‘space’ in a traditional sense again

The Hayward has gathered and presented the works of 20 artist designers whose work spans 50 years, a timely juncture for the celebrations of the Hayward’s 50th anniversary.
