Exhibition Review: “Oceania” at the Royal Academy

Oceania is one of the biggest exhibitions of Pacific Island art and design to have taken place in London in many years.

The exhibition presents the region’s distinctive landscape as a vital and deeply interconnected highway of dynamic exchange and encounter.

I found it particularly haunting and interesting to see objects from the lives of people and cultures long past.
It reminded me that change occurs on a daily basis and it’s always good to move forward, whilst taking the best of the past along with you.
